Raven Shane Johnson is currently a third year PhD student in the Computational and Applied Mathematics program at Rice University. She received her Masters in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Claremont Graduate University in 2021 and her Bachelors in Mathematics from Dartmouth College in 2018. Raven has loved teaching and math for as long as she can remember and plans to continue her journey by becoming a mathematics professor and advocate for underrepresented peoples in STEM. In her spare time, Raven enjoys baking, analyzing movies, and crafting spoken word poetry.
